Melanie has over 25 years experience in senior sales positions directing sales and managing teams and client relationships for major outsourcing organisations in multiple sectors. She is currently Head of Sales Support for Chayora, responsible for both sales, marketing and PR.  She is also an Independent Board Member/ Non-Executive Director for a cyber security business, both of which utilise her exceptional business development background.

Previously she was the Founder/ Director of a successful consultancy business operating into the Defence, Security, Space and Datacenter Sectors and continues to operate this business as a Board Member.  Melanie is an occasional advisor to one of the UK’s business enterprise zones, working at Board level to drive growth across a wide range of SMEs.

Previous experience includes developing, directing and executing Business Development growth strategies for a number of large organisations, including Serco, Fujitsu and she has international sector capabilities across defence, security, space and cyber, UK government (central & local), blue light, transport, facilities management, hospitality & leisure and health sectors. Melanie holds a joint honours degree in modern languages from Lancaster University.
